Have Knife - Will Travel

Welcome to travelingmohel.com! If you are expecting a boy, or if your son has just been born, and you live in an area without a local mohel (or the local mohel is unavailable, or you are exploring other options), travelingmohel.com is the address for you.

I come highly recommended by happy parents, rabbis and physicians, and have developed the traveling for a bris down to a science so that you have the best experience possible from a traveling mohel, your baby is given the attention he needs and deserves, and we remain in constant contact until your baby is completely healed from his bris (circumcision).

I currently live in South Florida, making me an ideal candidate to fly anywhere in the Caribbean or the United States. I am open to flying just about anywhere in the world!

Thursday

Houston - 2 brisses

I flew to Houston for two brisses today. Yes – TWO. When the stars align, this is Hashem’s way of making miracles happen. We just have to notice and say thank you. A family had reached out to me to be their as-yet-unborn son’s mohel. They were going to have an inducement begin on Tuesday night and were hoping for a bris on Wednesday or Thursday (a week later). The anticipated Wednesday and Thursday came and went and I hadn’t heard from them. Meanwhile, a different family from Houston called me for a Thursday bris. Sunday, however, the other couple was in touch to tell me they had their baby, and that he (too) had been born on Thursday. So I told them… wouldn’t you know! I’m going to be in Houston ANYWAY for a bris! With a slight adjustment on my return flight (rebooking to a flight two hours later), I was able to fit in both brisses.  All worked out amazingly.
